This was the first Web page design contest
jointly held by NetEase
and the Guangzhou Environment Society. The contest covered
35 middle schools in Guangzhou, and promoted NetEase's
image among the students. During the contest, NetEase
released designs from every school on the Personal Homepage,
which attracted the attention and participation of many middle
school students.
