| ChinaCast Co., Ltd ("CCL'') was
established in January 1999. With a license granted by
China's Ministry of Information Industry, CCL is engaged
in the business of satellite communication services. CCL's
mission is to provide cost-effective services in content-rich
bandwidth intensive areas, such as information broadcasting
and multimedia services using its satellite platform.
CCL is working with China Telecom, Hughes Network Systems
and ChinaCast Technology (HK) Limited ("ChinaCast
Technology'') to establish the Turbo163 service, a nationwide
broadband Internet service. |
