The Board           Kathy Xu is Principal of Baring Private Equity Partners, an Asian venture capital firm specializing in information technology. At Baring, Ms. Xu has led the firm's investments of several successful companies, including Vanda System, Netstar, Comtech, New Palm and NetEase. Ms. Xu also serves as a board member of these companies and has helped them in strategizing, senior executive recruiting, merger & acquisition and IPO planning. Prior to this, she served as an investment manager for Peregrine Direct Investments Limited and a senior accountant for Price Waterhouse, both based in Hong Kong. Ms. Xu holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from Nanjing University. She is qualified in UK as a certified public accountant. Ms. Xu has served as our director since December 1999.
