Mr. Wei joined NetEase
as Vice President and Chief Accountant in February
2000. Prior to his role in the NetEase
team, he was the Audit Department Manager at the
internationally renowned corporation PricewaterhouseCoopers.

As a professional auditor for a worldwide
accounting company, Mr. Wei accumulated a diverse background
and experience in accounting, securities, taxation and other
important financial domains. One of his key roles was providing
professional auditing and consulting services to China's top
companies for their listings in overseas stock markets. From
1992 to 2000, Mr. Wei worked with a number of world-class companies
including Stone, Yizheng Chemical Fiber Group, Bohai Chemical
Industrial Group, Northeast China Power Transmission & Transformer
Group, Shijiazhuang Baoshi Group, Wuxi Little Swan Group, China
No. 1 Auto Works Car Group and Tianjin Traditional Chinese Medicine
Group. Mr. Wei was also active in offering professional financial
and taxation services to multi-national corporations for their
business in China, including Motorola, Shell Oil, GoodYear,
Siemens, Nova Pharmaceutical and Taigu Group. |

Mr. Wei also spent two years with KPMG Peat
Marwick Company. He provided professional consulting services
including feasibility analysis and local and industrial preferential
policy studies for foreign companies interested in establishing
JVCs in China. He also played a role in negotiating cooperative
agreements for his foreign clients. |

Mr. Wei graduated from the Beijing Polytechnic
University with two Bachelor of Science degrees, one in Automatic
Control and another in Business Administration. |
